Kodak Gallery Professional Prints

My biggest complaint to Kodak has always been that you can not purchase their prints on Kodak Endura papers. These are the high quality professional papers I have mentioned previously.

Now Kodak has finally wised up and is preparing to launch a KodakGallery for professional prints.

I was invited to play with the beta, and gave it a quick run through. I think they have created a very nice site that makes professional prints a breeze. Unfortunately there are two draw backs, they do not offer all of the Endura options that AdoramaPix currently offers, and their pricing is significantly higher than Adorama’s pricing. Fortunately, Kodak Gallery tends to have a lot of specials.

I’ll also take this opportunity to point out Adorama’s excellent offerings, if you have not yet printed using Kodak Endura Metallic or Silk paper I highly recommend it.

I came across the official White House flickr stream the other night, its a constantly updated look behind the scenes by the White House official photographer. Whats even more intriguing about many of these great shots, you can download the full resolution (or very high) resolution versions.

Check them out, starting with this excellent shot of President Obama using at 5D Mark II

I wanted to quickly share some of my recent day time and night time extended exposure photographs. These photographs employ the B+W filters discussed in my filters page. I also used the Canon TC-80N3 remote timer to help expose for longer periods of time.
